Canine College Groomers save Dog’s Life – CPR

Congratulations to our groomers, Linda and Julie. On July 1st, they saved the life of one of our elderly Canine College Grooming Students whose heart stopped while here for her regular grooming appointment. Using CPR, the team brought her back and comforted Penny until her owners arrived and rushed her to their Veterinarian.

Penny is doing well and returned to her groomer, Linda this week for a touch-up and some TLC.  We now know she suffers from congenital heart failure  -  Linda and Julie gave Penny’s owners a little longer with their much loved companion.

Do you know what to do in an emergency?  Canine College sells American Red Cross DOG FIRST AID books – every home should have one.
