 "A day when Beau, Moose & Tanner come to daycare goes something like this:  I ask them if they are ready to go to “work” and all 3 begin to run wildly through the house.  We put on leashes, load them up in the car and head out to their very favorite place to visit.  Like clockwork, as I turn onto Research Drive, Beau starts to moan and moose tries to jump in the front seat.  Before I can even exit the car, Beau & Moose rush me and jump out of the car – it seems only Tanner has manners and patiently waits in the back seat!!  We fly through t he door like gangbusters and Moose inevitably jumps on the statue holding biscuits only to knock as many as he can on the floor and gobble them up as quickly as possible.  We are always greeted happily by Christina, Amber or Deb and the dogs are off to a great day.

We hope you all know how much we appreciate all of you and how important the things you do are to us.  Whether you greet the dogs and take them back to play, play with t he dogs, help us in training class, give the dogs a bath, or most importantly, hug them, talk to them a nd give them attention which they thrive on – you all make a difference in their lives and enrich their worlds.  For that reason we are eternally grateful."

 I can't say enough about how much we love having this facility so close to our home.  I don't think I could have found a better place for our dog and it makes our life so much easier now that we are empty nesters and need help now and then. 

I love your staff.  Everyone is so kind and seem to genuinely love our dog (note from staff:  easy stuff when we have a student like Miles)

Our dog is so excited to go to school (that is our word for it).  When he gets loose all we have to do is open the car door and say "let's go to school" and he jumps in the car. 

Love having the grooming there, it is so convenient when I drop him for daycare or boarding to have it done.  It saves a trip to take him to have it done elsewhere.  Daycare is Miles treat for the week!

 From the moment I called I could tell everyone loved the animals and their job at Canine College.  I find it encouraging that everyone wants to keep his or her educational classes and skills up.  Everyone that I h ave come in contact with has been helpful and encouraging.  Always willing to listen!

When asked if there was anything else our staff could add to improve your dog's experience:  "I cannot think of anything extra you could do ...Freddie loves it there!  He knows when we change his breakfast time (earlier) so that Rod can drop him o ff to give him more time to play.  It is my understanding that he doesn't stop playing and when he gets home he creashes!  He wants to go ... I think that says it all.  If he didn't have fun - I'm sure he would balk at going, but that's not the case.  He truly enjoys his time with you and the staff!"

I like that I can get the shots by the doctor ... that is a plus.  I don't have to make a special trip for that.  Also, boarding Freddie has been easy.  Even if it was an emergency I know that I could drop him  off and you would treat him like your own!

 The staff at Canine College is one of a kind!  I have yet to meet someone who is not friendly, courteous and ready to welcome my dog for the day.  They all made me feel extremely comfortable from day one.  I know that each of the staff will treat my dog with love and respect!

Canine College is in a league of their own for daycare!  We have taken our dog elsewhere and were disappointed to see that they were only allowed to play 2-3 hours.  At Canine College they play all day with a couple well needed breaks to relax.

Canine College makes it possible for dog owners who work full time to give their dogs freedom and time to play when they are at work.  It eliminates the guilt of leaving your dog home alone all day with little interaction or play time!  My dog is happier and more well behaved because of her socialization with other dogs!  We love to spoil Lily with trips to Canine College.

 Faculty:  I love the staff and so does Malachi!  (we love him too!)

I love that he can get a bath while he's at Canine College.  He's gotten way too big for me to force him into the tub! 

I was very nervous and skeptical at first but bringing Malachi to Canine College is the best thing I ever did.  It's his favorite thing to do.  He knows when we get to the light where we are going and I can barely keep him in the car!  The older dogs seem to teach him manners and he acts better at home and somehow they manage to tire him out.  We can got for 5 walks a day and he's still hyper but after playing at Canine College with other dogs he's a treat to bring home.  He's finally calm and terrorizes my cat a little less. :)  The staff is wonderful and most of them know his bark before he even gets through the door.  They get me in and out when I'm in a hurry very fast. 

I feel safe knowing there is always staff there supervising.  For anyone considering taking their dog to Canine College I would highly recommend it and tell you your dog will LOVE it.  If you have a high energy large dog like mine, then your shoes and furniture will appreciate it too because when he comes home he's too tired to be destructive.  It's also a good feeling knowing that he has his own dog friends and he's well socialized so when we go to the park and around other dogs, I never have to be concerned with how he will act.  If anyone is considering "The College" and is still nervous - feel free to contact me at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .       

Faculty:  Professional, friendly, empathic and helpful - no room for imrpvoement.  Already great.

Dog Care and Play:  I've love to see more simple training like sit, shake, etc.  (We have a variety of on-field commands we work with  at Canine College.  So often owners have their own specific requests for their dog - please let the Coaches know what your specific commands are and we can reinforce them!)
