Canine Good Citizen
Have you ever thought about using your dog for therapy work in a hospital or nursing home?  Did you know that according to the AKC “The AKC’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Program is rapidly becoming recognized as the standard of behavior for dogs in our communities.  Canine Good Citizen resolutions have been passed by 18 State legislatures and the United States Senate, insurance companies are starting to use CGC to insure breeds they would not otherwise insure, and some condominium associations around the country now requirethat all dogs in the complex have earned the Canine Good Citizen award”.  Upon completion of this class, you can have your dog tested (test fee separate)  Upon successful passage of this test, you will receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club.  Cost $95.00 for a 4 week class

What if I miss a class?
While it is not always possible to make up missed classes due to class size and combination of dogs, we will make every effort to make sure you and your dog learn the missing material.  Making sure that you and your dog understand the information is our first objective.

What if my dog has specific behavior or aggression problems?
While some behavior problems can be addressed in a group class, any aggressive dog will need to be evaluated by the trainer. Please contact our offices for further information.   We can offer private lessons in your home or at our facility.
