This position requires someone who has a great love of dogs, can lift 50 lbs, can stand for 5-6 hours, can work weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include manage carefully-matched groups of dogs while ensuring their safety and well-being. This exciting position requires good customer service skills and knowledge of or ability to master canine body language and group dog dynamics. In this dog lover’s dream job, you will interact with groups of dogs, maintain the cleanliness of the playfield and learn or enhance your current knowledge of pack management. You will stay with your pack for the entire shift and assist putting them into their private dorm rooms (kennels) during breaks. You will document behaviors of individual dogs if/when incidents occur and discuss with your leadership and other pack coaches who may or may not be on the field with you or in an adjoining playfield. This position is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about dogs, interact and care with/for them.
